We are a small farm in Southwest Missouri just north of the Joplin/Carthage area dedicated to raising all natural, grassfed beef, poultry, and milk.  By all natural, we mean that our animals are not given steroids, hormones, or antibiotics.  We strive to give them a fresh, healthy, stress-free environment.  For more information about the benefits of eating grassfed products, please visit Eatwild.com.

Our beef cattle are fed only fresh pasture or hay.  (Well, okay, they may occasionally get a treat when we're wanting to gather them together, but that's pretty rare.)  The only supplements they receive in addition to their daily pasture and/or hay are natural minerals including kelp meal and loose rock salt.   We do not use any artificial enhancers such as hormones, steroids, medicated feed, etc.  We also do not use any chemical pesticides on our pastures, but rely on our rotational grazing practices and occasional mowing to keep the weeds at bay.

Our laying hens are free to roam the pasture each day getting much of their diet from grass and bugs.  We also provide them with a cafeteria style choice of whole corn, roasted soybeans, whole oats, and oyster shells.

Our broilers are raised on pasture after they are old enough to withstand outdoor weather, and are moved each day to a fresh patch of grass.  In addition to the fresh pasture they receive each day, they have full time access to un-medicated feed that we have custom mixed at our local feed mill.

We also produce all natural grass fed raw milk.  Milk from cows that are not fed grain, or minimal amounts of grain, is known to have a higher level of healthful nutrients such as CLA and Omega 3’s.

We have our eyes on pasture raised pork and turkeys for next year, so stay tuned to see our progress.

Our goal with all of our livestock is to provide all natural, healthy, chemical free, grassfed products.  We want to be good stewards of the land that God has so graciously provided us, and also care well for the animals with which we've been blessed.   We truly believe that by producing all natural grassfed products, we can help improve peoples health and lives by providing them with a healthy alternative to many of the products you find at most grocery stores.  For more information about the benefits of eating grassfed products, please visit Eatwild.com.
